Every spec, no guessing
The Xerox 4127 Enterprise Printing System (EPS) is the 125 ppm mono production printer at the top of the 4112/4127 EPS platform — built for high-volume in-plant operations, transactional print shops, and commercial print bureaus doing 200,000-700,000 pages per month. It runs the same chassis as the 4112 with print speeds of 125 ppm Letter, 78 ppm Legal, 62 ppm Tabloid, and 34 ppm SRA3, all at 2400 x 2400 dpi (1200 x 1200 dpi RIP) with 106 lpi default halftone or 150 lpi high quality, and a 3.5-second first copy out. Front-to-back registration is +/- 0.7 mm. Standard paper capacity is 4,250 sheets across six trays; max capacity 8,250 sheets with optional 2-tray HCF (2,000 sheets each Letter), or Oversized HCF (1- or 2-tray, 2,000 sheets per tray, 8x10 to 13x19.2, 18 lb to 110 lb). The 250-sheet duplex ADF scans mono. Standard finisher: 3,000-sheet stacking, single or dual 100-sheet variable-length staples, 2/3-hole punch, decurler. Optional Booklet Maker for saddle-stitch; optional High-Capacity Stacker (5,000 sheets, rollaway cart) for unattended runs. FreeFlow Print Server (SUN platform) handles PostScript, PDF, PCL, VIPP, PPML, IPDS, variable data with concurrent data-stream processing. Optional FreeFlow Web Services for 24/7 customer job submission, FreeFlow Process Manager for automated assembly, and FreeFlow Makeready / Scanner 665 for combining hard copy and digital. Security: Strong Passwords, Secure FTP, IP Filtering, Port Blocking, removable HDD, disk overwrite. Buyer regret: outliving its useful service life — the 4127 is end-of-life new; for current production at this speed, the PrimeLink B9125 is the supported successor. Best for shops keeping an existing 4127 in service.
