The Lanier MP 9003 is a floor-standing tabloid (11x17) B&W laser MFP built for central reprographic departments and production print environments of 75-150 users. It prints and copies at 90 ppm — the fastest engine in the MP 6503/7503/9003 generation. Standard paper capacity is 4,300 sheets across dual 1,550-sheet tandem trays, two 550-sheet drawers, and a 100-sheet bypass, expandable to 8,300 sheets with the optional 4,000-sheet Large Capacity Tray. First-copy-out is 2.9 seconds, warm-up is around 5 minutes (standard for production-class engines this size). The standard 220-sheet single-pass document feeder (SPDF) scans at up to 120 ipm simplex / 220 ipm duplex. The 10.1-inch Smart Operation Panel and Motion Detection Sensor are the immediate upgrades over the older Aficio MP 9002SP generation. Standard connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, USB host, and SD card; Wireless LAN and NFC are optional. AirPrint and Mopria are standard. PCL5e/6 is standard; PostScript 3 and IPDS are optional PDLs. The thing buyers regret: not spec'ing the 4,000-sheet LCT day one — retrofitting it later is annoying. Launched 2017, discontinued — sold refurbished or off-lease now.
