Is this the right printer for you?

Who the Lanier LD375C is actually for

Most equipment pages just tell you what a device does. Here's the honest version: when this machine is the right choice, when it's fine, and when you should look at something else. We offer equipment for every business need, but the right machine depends on your specific workflow.

Best fit

Pick this if...

  • You run a central reprographics area or production print floor of 100-250 people that needs very high-volume A3 color.
  • You print 25,000-75,000 color pages a month — well inside the 150,000-page duty cycle.
  • You need 75 ppm B&W / 70 ppm color throughput for production runs.
  • You handle 12x18 covers, oversized flyers, heavyweight stocks daily.
  • You're keeping an Aficio MP C7501SP-family fleet alive on existing supplies and service contracts.
Works fine

You'll be happy if...

  • You print 75,000-130,000 pages a month — the chassis takes it; budget for more frequent consumables rotations.
  • You're cross-shopping LD365C vs LD375C — same chassis family; LD375C is the 75/70-ppm step up from the LD365C's 65/60.
  • You need finishing (staple, hole-punch, booklet, perfect bind) — the legacy MP C-series finishers bolt on; plan for the footprint.
  • You have a Lanier service contract on the MP C7501 platform — supplies still ship through Ricoh channels.
Look elsewhere

Skip this if...

  • You print under 12,000 pages a month — overbuilt for that volume; the LD635C/LD645C is sized better.
  • You only print mono — paying for color toner you don't use. The LD370 (70 ppm mono) is a much better fit.
  • You need touchscreen workflow apps and modern security — legacy platform from circa 2009/2010.
  • You don't have the floor space — 29.5 x 33.5 x 48.5 inches and 657+ lb. With LCT and finisher, expect 70+ inches wide.
  • You don't have a Lanier/Ricoh dealer for the MP C7501 family — supplies and service ship through dealer channels.
Full specifications

Every spec, no guessing

The Lanier LD375C is the production-class step up from the LD365C — Lanier rebrand of the Ricoh Aficio MP C7501SP family. Built for central reprographics areas or production print floors of 100-250 people printing 25,000-75,000 color pages a month. It runs 75 ppm in black and white and 70 ppm in color, has 3,300 sheets standard (single 2,200-sheet drawer plus dual 550-sheet drawers, expandable further), and is rated for a 150,000-page monthly duty cycle. Print resolution is up to 600 x 600 dpi, first copy is 5.7 seconds B&W / 7.5 seconds color. Paper handling spans 5.5x8.5 to 12x18 with heavy stock support. The chassis is 29.5 x 33.5 x 48.5 inches and weighs 657 lb. Scan-to email, network folder, and FTP are standard. This is a legacy platform — most units sell as pre-owned, low-meter equipment now, but the Aficio MP C7501SP supplies family is still in production through Ricoh channels. The thing buyers regret: ordering the LD375C as a 'just-in-case' upgrade from the LD365C and never using the extra 10 ppm. If your color volume is honestly under 25,000 pages a month, the LD365C is the right slot at lower cost. Buy the LD375C when your monthly color production is consistently above 25,000 pages and the extra throughput shaves real time off your job runs.

FAQ

Lanier LD375C, common questions

The questions we get asked most often on this model. If yours isn't here, call (888) 574-5120 and get an answer in about 30 seconds.

Yes, the Lanier LD375C ships with a starter toner cartridge. The black starter toner yields approximately 43,200 pages, while color cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow) yield about 21,600 pages each at 5% coverage. Replacement toner models include the genuine Ricoh 841357 (black) and 841358-841360 (color). When you lease through us with toner included, you never pay for toner separately.
The Lanier LD375C is a production-class printer designed for high-volume environments, printing up to 75 ppm in black and 70 ppm in color, with a monthly duty cycle of 150,000 pages. In contrast, the Lanier IM 430F is a desktop model suited for smaller offices, printing at 45 ppm in monochrome only, with a duty cycle of 40,000 pages. The LD375C supports larger paper capacities (up to 3,300 sheets standard) and heavier stock, while the IM 430F is more compact and includes features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen and optional Wi-Fi. For small offices with lower volume needs, the IM 430F is a more cost-effective choice.
The Lanier LD375C is built for high-volume environments, handling 25,000–75,000 color pages monthly, which may exceed the needs of most small businesses. Its 75 ppm speed and large paper capacity are ideal for central reprographics or production floors, but smaller offices with lower volume might find it excessive. For businesses printing under 25,000 pages monthly, consider a more compact option like the Lanier LD365C.
Yes, the Lanier LD375C supports full-color printing at up to 70 ppm, making it ideal for high-volume color production. It uses separate cyan, magenta, and yellow toner cartridges, each yielding approximately 21,600 pages.
