It runs 35 ppm in both black and color at Letter, drops to 17 ppm at Ledger/A3, and has a 175,000-page monthly duty cycle that's still respectable. Standard capacity is 1,150 sheets across two 500-sheet drawers plus a 150-sheet multi-purpose tray, expandable to 7,150 with side feeders. Resolution is 600 x 600 dpi native with multi-bit smoothing that Kyocera markets as 9,600 x 600 dpi equivalent — fine for office documents, not the same as the true 1200 dpi on the newer 3552ci. The base ADF is a 100-sheet reversing unit (DP-770); the optional DP-772 dual-scan ADF takes you to 100 ipm one-pass duplex, which is the upgrade most buyers actually wanted.
