Every spec, no guessing
The Kyocera TASKalfa 13600 is the top-end mono digital press in the TASKalfa production line, built for in-plant print shops, CRDs, university duplicating centers, and commercial service bureaus producing 200,000-600,000 mono pages a month. It runs at 136 ppm letter with 1200 x 1200 dpi, supports stocks up to 130 lb cover, sheet sizes from 3.94 x 5.5 inches to 13 x 19 (A3+), and is rated for a 1,000,000-page monthly duty cycle. Standard paper capacity is 3,300 sheets, expandable to 12,650 sheets with high-capacity feeders so a single load runs through most of a shift unattended. The 300-sheet dual-scan document processor handles long copy and scan jobs, and scan destinations include SMB, email, FTP, FTP over SSL, USB, WSD, TWAIN, and DSM. Auto duplex is standard from statement to 13x19. The 10.4-inch color touchscreen rides on an adjustable arm for operator ergonomics on long shifts. Inline finishing options (saddle stitch, multi-folder, ring binder, trimmer) let you produce finished booklets and packets in one pass. The thing buyers actually like: the speed-to-paper-capacity ratio. At 136 ppm with 12,650-sheet max input, you can run a full statement cycle without operator intervention. The thing buyers regret: undersizing the install. This is a 937-lb chassis at 45 x 35.4 x 45.1 inches needing 208-240V on a 20A dedicated circuit and clearance on all sides. Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, and USB Host standard with an optional Fiery controller for variable-data and imposition workflows. Mono only.
