It runs the 6-ink HP 746 pigment system at up to 2400 x 1200 optimized dpi, hits 80.5 m²/hr fast on plain media (18.8 m²/hr normal on coated), and includes two automatic roll feeds, smart roll switching, an integrated horizontal cutter, and an integrated vertical trimmer that cuts most HP Z-series qualified media (most canvas included; self-adhesive vinyls and non-cuttable media are excluded). Native PostScript 3 and PDF 1.7 keep Adobe, AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam workflows clean without a third-party RIP. HP Secure Boot, whitelisting, the 500 GB self-encrypting HDD, and JetAdvantage Security Manager compatibility cover AEC and government compliance.
