The honest catch: at 44 inches max width and DICOM/DWF output, this is built for specific commercial and engineering workflows — if your actual originals top out at 36 inches, the WideTEK 36 series saves money. And it's simplex sheet-feed; for duplex you need the 36DS or wait for a duplex 44. Best fit: packaging design and lithography shops where 44-inch capture is the constraint.
