The Lanier MP 6002SP is a floor-standing tabloid (11x17) B&W laser MFP built for departments of 30-75 users running heavy daily print volumes. It prints and copies at 60 ppm, holds 4,300 sheets standard across dual 1,550-sheet tandem trays, two 550-sheet drawers, and a 100-sheet bypass, and expands to 8,300 sheets with the optional 4,000-sheet Large Capacity Tray. First-copy-out is 3.9 seconds, warm-up is under 30 seconds. The 150-sheet Automatic Reversing Document Feeder (ARDF) handles two-sided originals by flipping them — slower than the single-pass SPDF on the newer MP 6054/6055. The 9-inch tilting color LCD with USB and SD slots is the previous-generation Ricoh control panel. Standard connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, and SD card; Wireless LAN, Bluetooth, and IEEE 1284 are optional. Print resolution is 1200 x 1200 dpi (true 600 x 600 for copy). The thing buyers regret: ordering this when their volume is under 8,000 pages/month — at that load the chassis is overkill and the floor space is wasted.
