The Copystar CS 2550ci is an older A3 color MFP at 25 ppm color and mono with 600 x 600 dpi resolution — a workhorse for small-to-mid office floors that need volume document handling at modest cost. The 1,100-sheet standard input handles a few days of paper, optional finishing covers stapling and stacking, and scan speeds run 48 ipm at 300 dpi or 25 ipm at 600 dpi via the duplex feeder. Network-ready, optional fax, OEM toner yields are 12,000 pages B/W and 6,000 pages each color. Optional finishing covers staple stacking and booklet making for short runs. Footprint is roughly 22 x 26 inches and weight is around 240 lb on the standard pedestal. Power runs on 110-127 V at 12 A. The 8.5 inch color touchscreen drives the Kyocera HyPAS solution platform for scan-to-folder, scan-to-email, and authentication apps. Honest regret: this is the oldest of the Copystar 25 ppm chassis — newer models (2552ci, 2553ci, 2554ci) all offer better resolution, faster scans, and more storage at similar pricing on used market.
