It prints and copies at 40 ppm in B&W with 1200 x 1200 dpi, first-page-out in 4.2 seconds, and is rated for a 165,000-page monthly duty cycle. Standard paper capacity is 1,100 sheets (dual 500-sheet trays + 100-sheet multipurpose), expandable to 4,100 with optional cassettes, and the standard inner output tray holds 250 sheets. Scanning runs through the optional DP-7170 dual-scan document processor at 100 ipm simplex / 200 ipm duplex, with destinations including SMB, email, FTP, FTP over SSL, USB, WSD, TWAIN, and DSM.
