Every spec, no guessing
The Kyocera TASKalfa MZ3200i is a floor-standing A3 monochrome MFP built for workgroups and departments of 15-40 users that need in-house tabloid (11x17) print, copy, and scan with real enterprise security. It runs at 32 ppm in B&W with 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution, first-page-out in 4.9 seconds, and is rated for a 150,000-page monthly duty cycle. Standard paper capacity is 1,100 sheets across two 500-sheet drawers and a 100-sheet multipurpose tray, expandable to 4,100 sheets with optional cassettes. Scanning runs through the optional DP-7170 dual-scan document processor at up to 200 ipm duplex, holds 320 originals at a time, and routes to SMB folders, email, FTP, FTP over SSL, USB, WSD, TWAIN, and DSM. Auto duplex is standard from statement to ledger, and the 10.1-inch color touchscreen runs Kyocera's HyPAS app platform — this is the reason most legal, healthcare, and managed-print customers pick the MZ3200i over the prior 3253i platform. Security is the other reason: TPM, Secure Boot, Allow Listing, Run-time Integrity Check, HCD-PP, and FIPS 140-2 ship standard. The thing buyers regret: paying for an A3 floor unit and only printing letter. If your monthly volume sits under 1,500 pages or you never use 11x17, an A4 desktop MFP costs less to own. Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet plus USB 2.0 standard; wireless and dual NIC are optional accessories.
