It prints up to 30 ppm in both color and black at letter size, copies and scans color, and handles auto duplex up to 11x17 ledger. Monthly duty cycle is 100,000 pages, with a standard 600-sheet paper capacity expandable to 1,600 sheets. Print resolution goes up to 1200 x 1200 dpi at reduced speed (Fine 1200 dpi at full speed). The 50-sheet Reversing Automatic Document Processor handles two-sided originals at slower speed; for high-volume duplex scanning the dual-scan models (M3860idn, TASKalfa 2554ci) are faster. The 7-inch color touchscreen is HyPAS-capable with an optional SSD (HD-6 or HD-7) or SDHC card for DMConnect, PinPoint Scan, and SharePoint Connector. Wireless LAN, Wi-Fi Direct, and NFC ship standard along with Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0. The 500-sheet 3-position staple finisher is an option.
